Lara vs. Hydravora

Description

...now the fool payed the price for trying to lead her into the deadly trap of a giant Hydravora. His frantically screams were choked down as the trap-leaves of the carnivorous plant closed over him, only his wriggling legs and arms still stuck out... A ugly noise of cracking bones followed, a mixture of the prey's blood and digestive juice dropped out between the closing trap-leaves...

But Lara had to do something now or she would share his fate too! Seized by one of the tendrils she was tossed toward one of the other waiting traps, she draw her guns and started to shoot: Hitting the "hinge" of the leafes was the key to escape, and finally she made it. The trap blasted apart into two parts and the tendril around Lara's leg loosened his grip...
Every tendril of this beast was connected to one, specific trap, and the trap that was connected with the tendril that had seized her, was destroyed now. She felt down and with a swift rollover she moved herself out of the reach of the tendrils for the other traps.

Nevertheless, it was a fascinating plant. Something like a giant Venus Flytrap. With an ugly, wet sucking noise the inner tissue of the trap kneaded and pulled the still convulsive twitching arms and legs of the tracherous shaman in and with a snapping sound it closed completely.
"Hasta la Vista, Dumbass!" snorted Lara as she reloaded her guns...

A "quicky" done in three nights to test Hydravora, my new creation. And who is a more suitable professional to test a new created monster than Lara Croft?
Okay, she damaged it badly, but a new trap will grow in about a week... And sometime i will manage it to create a monster that can even beat Lara...! :plotting:

Technical side:
I used Stonemasons "Enchanted Forest" from DAZ3D again here. It's a gorgeous set and my new man eating plant fit well in it. Laras outfit is the "Irina-Adventuress-Set" by ~blackhearted for SP3. (Unfortunately the Irina-Set is not longer available at Renderosity :-( ) and the "Ultimate Changing Ponytail" by 3D Universe, available at DAZ3D.com
Rendered in DAZ-Studio 3 Advanced, Post-production in PSP-X (especially the muzzleblast of Lara's guns and some light-adjustments).

Hydravora for Poser/DAZ-Studio is availble as a freebie here:
