Riverboat as .OBJ and for Poser/DAZ-Studio

Description

"You're gonna need a bigger boat!"
Chief Brody in... gahhh... everyone know it! ;-)

Inspired by the riverboat as seen in the creature feature "Anaconda" (1997), the Micaela II is ready for you expedition into the deep and dangerous regions of the Amazon. It's not a beauty, but a reliable and sturdy working-horse. After creating some rather simple objects, the Micaela II was my first bigger project in 3D-modeling. Comes with all textures as a DAZ-Studio 3 scene-preset Poser-prop (.pp2) and as an .OBJ-file that can be imported in almost every 3D-application.
Please read the accompaining Readme.txt for more infos.

Update Oct. 04. 2011:
The DAZ-Studio-Preset was now completely replaced with a Poser-Runtime and the .HXN-file was removed from the .ZIP-Folder (too large). You can import the .OBJ in Hexagon too to modify it.
Unfortunately the DAZ-scene-format wrote some nasty, hidden files including my local HD-path during safing the model as a scene-preset in a so called "data"-folder.
This format made a lot of troubles when trying to install the model on other computers than mine, due this damn local HD-path and some other unsolved, annoying error-messages.
I converted the complete model now to a Poser-Prop (.pp2) to avoid the troubles of the DAZ-scene-preset.
Advantage is, that it now runs in Poser and DAZ-Studio regardless of the used DAZ-Studio version.
Disadvantage is, that all materials load with the typical Poser-Preset and you have to adjust the shaders and bumpmaps manually.

Update Dec. 26, 2012: New occured issues in DAZ-Studio 4.5:
In DS 4.5 the model loads with extremely oversized doors and crane. I have no idea what happened here because in older DAZ-Studio versions this problem do not occur. Here is the simple workaround: Load the model. The boat is scaled to 8.4% but the two doors and crane loads with 100%. Simply set the size of "door", "door2" and "crane" to 8.4% too in the Posing-Tab.

Technical side:
This project had cost me again more time than expected.
