Version 1.0, modeled and textured in Hexagon 2.5.
Rigged in DAZ-Studio 3 with the Figure Setup Tool.

Tested in:
DAZ-Studio 3.1.2.32 Advanced Edition, 64 Bit
DAZ-Studio 4.0.0.339 Standard Edition, 32 Bit

More infos about installing, posing etc. you will find in the "readme.pdf" that comes with the ZIP-file.

Installing in Poser 6/7 (or higher) and DAZ-Studio:
Windows: Unzip all files of the Runtime-folder in the "Sacrifying-Pole for Poser"-folder to your Poser 6 or 7 folder.
Mac: Unzip all files to a folder and copy them into to your Poser 6 or 7 folder. Please don't overwrite existing files or folders.
I hope, that it will work in Poser; i use DAZ-Studio only and so i wasn't able to do a real test in Poser, but the internal paths of the .cr2 and the .pp2 were correct when i checked them in a text-editor.

The idea behind The better Sacrifying-Pole (Patents pending):
Sacrifying damsels, maidens, princesses etc. to dragons, wyverns, tentacle-monsters, sea-serpents, giant snakes, monster-spiders etc. is a very old and funny tradition, but the traditionally used sacrifying-pole has a blatant fault. Several artists here on DA made me aware of this annoying issue with their works:

We see, the problem is more than obvious! The victim was often chained to the pole and so the hungry dragon (or any other creature) often tear off the arms or hands of the poor victim to get it off the chains!
The dragons waste a lot of good meat and due the massive loss of blood the victim become unconscious or even die very fast. That reduces the fun for the dragons who like to devour their prey still screaming and wriggling... Not to talk about the poor guy who have to clean up the bloody mess on the sacrifying-place afterward :puke:

And so a few weeks ago i met some dragons and wyverns to discuss this old issue and with this new developed and improved Sacrifying-Pole we found a simple (Yes, simple! But hey, the paperclip was such a simple revolution too) and useful solution of the problem:
The ropes or chains are not longer screwed or nailed to the pole, but simply hooked in, so the dragon can simply remove his prey without injuring it (yet).
The victim can't escape by itself if properly shackled to the pole. The only problem may appear if you sacrify some experienced, muscular warriors, for example Amazons. They may be able to climb up the pole and to unhook the upper rings. To prevent this, we secured their ankles with a further rope or metal-shackles. But far more funny was the idea to simply grease the whole pole! This is not necessary when sacrifying an average maiden or princess.

We reduced the metal-parts of the chaining by using sturdy ropes instead of iron-chains too. Only the upper rings and wrist-shackles are still made of iron but will cause no troubles when accidentally swallowed together with the victim (Remember: Large dragons often devour full armored knights without suffering any digestive problems). The ropes are made of natural fibers and they are even appreciated by many dragons as a useful dental-floss after the meal!

Do your dragon (or any other hungry creature) a favor: Use the Better Sacrifying-Pole!! :evillaugh:
